I have just purchased a Golden Mask 3. I went out with it for the first time today. For the price I found it a quite amazing detector. I found 2 lead tokens and one was the smallest that I have ever seen. It had the flower pattern and the line with bullet. Things that I was not to keen on were :- 1/ The target response tone, I found it a little vague unless it was a big target or the target was near the surface. It was plenty loud enough and I only had the volume up less than half way. 2/ I found the machine much more sensitive when using manual ground balance. However, I did not find this too easy to accomplish. That is if I was doing it right. 3/ It would be nice if it had more than one tone. Other than that, I could not really fault it and well worth the money. It now comes with coil cover and notch adjustable stem.
