hi martin found anything as yet i have a 250 and found some old buttons etc

Hi! Dixie
I have been out today in the garden (of all places!) and have found a old serrated edged coin, a R.A.F. brass button, a washer, a old carb part off a tractor two 12 bore cartridge case ends and about ten old hand made nails. I am slowly getting the hang! of using the 250.
I live in a old cottage which is situated in a farmyard and have access to a adjoining field, in which I found the staple and also a foot of steel pipe!. I was driven! indoors by the snow flurries (not wanting to get the 250 wet) so will venture out again tomorrow. The River Lugg is nearby and I am looking forward to scanning the banks etc of the river when it drops a bit.
